Function and Application

Mainly used to drive away gastrointestinal nematodes and lung nematodes in livestock and poultry.
Pig: Used to drive away pig roundworms, esophageal nematodes (nodular worms), roundworms, and posterior roundworms (pulmonary filariasis).
Cattle and sheep: used to drive away gastrointestinal nematodes (such as blood lance nematode, Oster nematode, hairy roundworm, ancient cypress nematode) and lung nematodes (net tail nematode) in cattle and sheep.

Pharmacological effects
Insect repellent. Tetraimidazole is a mixed enantiomer and a broad-spectrum insecticide, with its levo isomer (levamisole) being the main active ingredient. It inhibits the activity of succinate dehydrogenase in the parasite, affects its anaerobic metabolism, paralyzes its muscles, and is excreted from the body by the host's intestinal peristalsis. It has insecticidal effects on various nematode adults and larvae in livestock and poultry. In addition, this product also has a certain immune enhancement function.

Neurotoxicity: The therapeutic dose is close to the toxic dose, and excessive use can lead to serious or even fatal toxic reactions! Symptoms include muscle tremors, excitement, convulsions, vomiting, salivation, difficulty breathing, and ataxia ("Tourette syndrome").
Hematotoxicity: May cause neutropenia and leukopenia.

Excessive use is strictly prohibited! Animals with liver and kidney dysfunction are prohibited from use. Use with caution or contraindicated in pre pregnancy and extremely weakened animals.
