INTRODUCTION
Ivermectin is a member of the macrocyclic lactone classof endectocides which have a unique mode of action.Compounds of the class bind selectively and with highaffinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels whichoccur in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, This leadsto an increase in the permeability of the cell membraneto chloride ions with hyperpolarization of the nerve ormuscle cell, resulting in paralysis and death of the parasite.Ivermectin (ivermectin)Injection is an injectableparasiticide for cattle and swine.
